X (Twitter) Platform Guide
Welcome to the X platform documentation! This guide will help you understand all the features and settings available when posting to X through our platform.
Supported Post Types
1. Video Tweets
Upload and share videos directly to X. Videos are a powerful way to engage your audience with dynamic content.
- Supported formats: MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI
- Maximum file size: Check X's current upload limits
- Video duration: Follow X's native video length limits
2. Image Posts
Share images with your followers. X supports multiple images in a single tweet, allowing you to create visually rich posts.
- Maximum images per tweet: 4 images
- Maximum image size: 5MB per image
- Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP
3. Threads
Create multi-tweet threads to share longer-form content. Perfect for stories, detailed explanations, or series of related posts.
- Thread Image Layout: Control how images are distributed across tweets in your thread
- Long Text Handling: Choose whether long text appears as a single post or as a thread
4. Text Posts
Share text-only tweets for announcements, thoughts, or updates.
- Character limit: Follow X's current character limits
- Formatting: Use hashtags, mentions, and URLs
5. Analytics
Track the performance of your X posts directly through the platform.
Note: Analytics features may require additional integration or API access.
Post Settings Explained
This section details all the customizable settings available for your X posts.
Title
Customize how your post appears with a specific title. This is useful when you want different titles across platforms.
- Field: X Title
- Purpose: Set a custom title for your X post
- Default: Uses the content from your main post if left empty
Text Format
Control how long text is published:
- Long text as single post: When enabled, long text is published as one continuous post
- Thread mode: When disabled, long text is automatically split into a thread
Thread Image Layout
Control how images are distributed across multiple tweets in a thread.
Format: Comma-separated numbers (0-4) indicating images per tweet
Examples:

0,4 | First tweet is text-only, second tweet has 4 images |
2,3,1 | First tweet: 2 images, Second: 3 images, Third: 1 image |
| (empty) | Auto-distribute images in groups of 4 |
Rules:
- Each value must be between 0 and 4
- Total must equal the number of media files
- Use 0 for text-only tweets
Reply Settings
Control who can reply to your tweets:

| Everyone | Anyone can reply to your tweet |
| Following | Only people you follow can reply |
| Mentioned Users | Only users you mention in the tweet can reply |
| Subscribers | Only your subscribers can reply |
| Verified | Only verified accounts can reply |
Additional Reply Options:
- Reply to Tweet ID: Create a reply to a specific tweet by entering its numeric ID
- Exclude Users from Reply: Prevent specific users from replying (requires Reply to Tweet ID to be set)
Location
Add geographic location to your tweets:
- Place ID: Enter an X place ID to tag your tweet with a location
- This helps increase engagement with location-based content
Visibility Settings
Control who can see your tweets:

Nullcast (Promotional)
- Publish without broadcasting to your followers
- Ideal for promoted posts or subscriber-only content
- Note: Super followers settings will be ignored when this is enabled

Super Followers Only
- Make your tweet exclusive for your super followers
- Great for premium content
Community
Post to X Communities:
- Community ID: Enter the community ID to post to a specific X Community
- Share with Followers: Choose whether your community post also appears in your main feed
Direct Message Link
Add a link that takes users from your public tweet to a private conversation:
- DM Deep Link: Enter a URL that opens a direct message conversation
- Useful for customer support or private discussions
Photo Tags
Tag users in your images:
- Tagged User IDs: Enter comma-separated user IDs
- Maximum: 10 users can be tagged per image

Image Tips
- Keep images under 5MB to ensure successful uploads
- Use the thread image layout feature when posting more than 4 images
- High-quality images work best
Engagement Tips
- Use reply settings to control conversations
- Add location for local content engagement
- Utilize threads for detailed content that needs more space

Troubleshooting
Image Upload Issues
If your images fail to upload:
- Check that each image is under 5MB
- Ensure proper image formats are used (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP)
- Verify your internet connection
Thread Issues
If your thread doesn't publish correctly:
- Check that thread image layout values total equals media count
- Ensure values are between 0-4
- Review character limits for text content
Visibility Settings
Remember:
- Nullcast posts won't be visible to super followers only
- Community posts can optionally be shared with followers
- Some features require specific X account types (e.g., Super Followers)
