Facebook Integration

This document provides detailed information about the Facebook features supported by the platform.

Supported Features

1. Facebook Reels

Facebook Reels are short-form vertical videos (9:16 aspect ratio) similar to TikTok or Instagram Reels. This format is ideal for reaching younger audiences and maximizing engagement through algorithmic discovery.

  • Aspect Ratio: 9:16 (vertical)
  • Duration: Up to 90 seconds
  • Recommended Resolution: 1080x1920 pixels
  • Best Practices:
    • Use eye-catching thumbnails
    • Add engaging titles and descriptions
    • Include trending audio when possible

2. Video Posts

Video posts are the standard video format for Facebook Pages. Unlike Reels, these support any aspect ratio and can be up to 4 hours in length. This format is perfect for longer-form content such as tutorials, webinars, or detailed product demonstrations.

  • Aspect Ratio: Any (16:9, 4:3, 1:1, etc.)
  • Duration: Up to 4 hours
  • Custom Thumbnails: Supported - you can set a custom thumbnail using a public image URL
  • Use Cases: Educational content, product demos, webinars, behind-the-scenes

3. Image Posts

Image posts allow you to share single images or photo albums to your Facebook Page. This is the simplest way to share visual content and works great for announcements, product showcases, and visual storytelling.

  • Supported Formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF
  • Maximum File Size: 45MB
  • Recommendations:
    • Use high-resolution images (1200x630 minimum for link previews)
    • Include alt text for accessibility
    • Add engaging captions

4. Stories

Stories are ephemeral content that disappears after 24 hours. They're perfect for time-sensitive content, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and creating a more personal connection with your audience.

  • Duration: Up to 20 seconds per segment
  • Format: Vertical (9:16)
  • Availability: 24 hours then auto-delete

5. Analytics

The platform provides analytics for your Facebook posts, helping you track performance and optimize your content strategy. You can view key metrics to understand how your content is performing.
