TikTok Posting Guide
At a Glance
Ngepost lets you publish video posts (up to 10 minutes) and image slideshows (up to 35 images) to TikTok. You can post immediately or upload as a draft.
What you can configure from Ngepost:
- Post title (up to 2,200 characters for video, 90 for images)
- Privacy level (Public, Friends, Followers, Private)
- Interaction controls (Duet, Comments, Stitch)
- Video cover timestamp
- Brand disclosures (Paid Partnership, Own Business, AI-Generated)
What Ngepost cannot do for TikTok:
- Set title, caption, or privacy in Draft mode (must be done manually in the TikTok app)
- Post videos longer than 10 minutes
- Post formats other than MP4/MOV (video) or JPG/PNG (images)
- Show real-time analytics (data appears after 24–48 hours)
⚠️ New Account Warning: If your TikTok account is new, warm it up for 5 consecutive days before connecting to Ngepost. Spend time watching, liking, and commenting on videos in your niche. Connecting without this warm-up period may result in your account being flagged as a bot or shadowbanned.

Draft mode limitation: When using Draft (Media Upload), TikTok does not allow setting title, caption, privacy settings, or other metadata through Ngepost. The media is uploaded to your TikTok inbox; you must add these details manually in the TikTok app before publishing.

Video Cover
- Applicable to: Video posts only
- How to set: Provide a timestamp in milliseconds
- Default: 1,000 ms (1 second into the video)
- Example:
3000= cover image at 3 seconds
Brand & Content Disclosures

Analytics
Ngepost tracks the performance of your TikTok posts.
Analytics data appears after a 24–48 hour delay. Real-time data is not available.
Usage Tips
- Include relevant hashtags in your title to improve discoverability
- Use Public privacy for maximum reach
- Keep interactions (Duet, Comments, Stitch) enabled unless you have a specific reason to disable them
- Disable comments for sensitive content
- Always disclose paid partnerships and AI-generated content
- Use the Promote Own Business setting when posting about your own products or services
Troubleshooting
