Connecting Social Media Platforms

Connect your social media accounts to start publishing content from one central dashboard. Setup only takes a few minutes.

Connecting Your Platforms

Step 1: Open the Dashboard

Go to /dashboard. This is your main control center for managing all platform connections and content.

Step 2: Find the Platforms Section

Click Platform in the sidebar. You'll see a list of social networks available to connect.

Step 3: Select a Platform to Connect

Choose which platform you want to add. You can connect multiple accounts or start with just one.

Available platforms:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Twitter/X
  • LinkedIn
  • TikTok
  • Coming soon

Step 4: Start the Connection

Click "Connect via upload-post". This opens a secure link with JWT authentication to our official provider.

🔐 Security note: JWT (JSON Web Token) authentication ensures your credentials are handled securely through encrypted tokens.

💡 Tip: To make things easier, open your social media in the same browser when connecting. For example: you want to connect to your Instagram account. First, open Instagram in a browser. Make sure you're logged into that account. Repeat steps one through three in the same browser where your account is logged in. This will make the process smoother and help avoid connection errors.

Step 5: Grant Permissions in upload-post

Inside the upload-post portal:

  1. Select the social media account you want to connect
  2. Grant connection access
  3. Confirm the linking request

Tip: Review permissions carefully to understand what access you're granting.

Step 6: Return to Dashboard

After completing authorization, return to your dashboard. The connection process is now complete.

Step 7: Verify the Connection

Your newly connected platform now appears in the dashboard list. You're ready to start creating and scheduling content.

Troubleshooting

"My platform doesn't show up"

  • Check authorization status: Go back to upload-post and verify you completed all authorization steps
  • Platform maintenance: Some networks are occasionally under maintenance. Check their status page if the connection fails
  • Refresh the dashboard: Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in

"Error during connection"

Try again by following the 💡 Tip in step 4. Logging in from the same browser when connecting your account will make the connection easier.

If the error persists, read the error message carefully. It usually explains the problem (expired session, denied permissions, or account restrictions). Most errors can be resolved by restarting the connection flow.

Authentication tokens expire within a short time for security. Simply click "Connect via upload-post" again to generate a new link.
