Connecting Social Media Platforms πŸ“±

Link your social accounts to start publishing content from one central dashboard. The setup takes just a few minutes.

Connecting Your Platforms

Step 1: Open the Dashboard

Navigate to /dashboard. This is your main control center where you manage all platform connections and content.

Step 2: Find the Platforms Section

Click Platforms in the sidebar. You'll see a list of available social networks you can connect.

Step 3: Select Platforms to Connect

Choose which platforms you want to add. You can connect multiple accounts or just start with one.

Available platforms:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Twitter/X
  • LinkedIn
  • TikTok
  • More coming soon

Step 4: Initiate the Connection

Click "Connect via upload-post". This opens a secure, JWT-authenticated link to our authorized provider.

πŸ” Security note: JWT (JSON Web Token) authentication ensures your credentials are handled securely through encrypted tokens.

Step 5: Authorize in upload-post

Inside the upload-post portal:

  1. Select the social media account you want to connect
  2. Authorize the connection permissions
  3. Confirm the linking request

Tip: Review the permissions carefully to understand what access you're granting.

Step 6: Return to Dashboard

After completing the authorization, navigate back to your dashboard. The connection process is now complete.

Step 7: Verify the Connection

Your newly connected platforms now appear in the dashboard list. You're ready to start creating and scheduling content.

Troubleshooting

"My platform isn't showing up"

  • Check authorization status: Return to upload-post and verify you completed all authorization steps
  • Platform maintenance: Some networks occasionally undergo maintenance. Check their status pages if connections fail
  • Refresh the dashboard: Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in

"Error during connection"

Read the error message carefullyβ€”it usually specifies the issue (expired session, denied permissions, or account restrictions). Most errors are resolved by restarting the connection flow.

Authentication tokens expire after a short time for security. Simply click "Connect via upload-post" again to generate a fresh link.
